Mike Nicoletta joined Medtronic Xomed in December of 2000, bringing a wealth of strategic operations experience. He previously served as Vice President of Global Operations for Bausch and Lomb. In this role, Mike had responsibility for the global supply chain of a half billion-dollar business unit. This

unit included nine manufacturing and two distribution sites. In addition, he led the group through two major acquisitions.

Prior to Bausch and Lomb, Mike spent nine years with American Home Products as Vice President of Global Operations. At AHP, Mike was instrumental in the business growth to over $300 million through new product introduction and acquisition.

Mike began his career at General Electric after graduating from Murray State University. His responsibilities increased during his 15 years at GE and his last position was Manager, Commercial Manufacturing in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position had four domestic and one international site under his guidance. He also had responsibility for the Project-Design Engineering function, led cycle time reduction programs, cellular manufacturing projects and JIT initiatives that served as GE's Best Practice model.
